KC Scout attends the OOIDA Health and Wellness Fair

Scout Operator Jennifer Chambers and Emergency Response Shift Supervisor Ed Jackson represented KC Scout at the Owner Operator Independent Drivers Association’s Health and Wellness Fair on Thursday, Sept. 19. OOIDA is a national trade association based out of Oak Grove, MO, dedicated to serving “owner-operators, small fleets and professional truckers; to work for a business climate where truckers are treated equally and fairly; to promote highway safety and responsibility among all highway users; and to promote a better business climate and efficiency for all truck operators," according to their mission statement.

OOIDA employees had the opportunity to attend the fair and learn about different health and wellness organizations within the KC area.

Two car seats were donated from Kathy Zents with Safe Kids to MoDOT’s Emergency Response team to utilize at the event. The car seats were won by two employees of OODIA. The day involved educating employees about KC Scout and all the benefits like the Scout app, ER, and MAV.
